Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Overview

PDFPeek is a fully client-side tool. Your PDF files are processed entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to any server. We do not upload, store, or have any access to the documents you open.

What we do not collect

  • The contents of any PDF file you open
  • Your name, email address, or any identifying information
  • Form field names, values, or any data from your PDFs
  • Any account credentials

Analytics

PDFPeek uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — for example, how many PDFs are opened per day or which export formats are used. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you or your documents.

Firebase Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Local storage and cookies

PDFPeek does not use cookies to store personal data. We do not use localStorage or sessionStorage to persist any of your file data. When you close or refresh the tab, all data is permanently discarded.

Third-party services

PDFPeek loads resources from the following third parties:

  • Google Fonts — for typography (Inter, JetBrains Mono, Space Grotesk)
  • Firebase / Google Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics

These services have their own privacy policies and terms.

Children

PDFPeek is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PDFPeek after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
